The album "Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart: Requiem Kv. 626" from 1979 is a classical recording of one of Mozart's most profound and solemn compositions, the Requiem Mass in D minor (K. 626). This album features the complete set of movements that comprise the Requiem, including the "Introitus," "Kyrie," and the "Sequenz," which itself contains sections like "Dies Irae," "Tuba Mirum," and "Lacrimosa." The performance also includes the "Offertorium" with its "Domine Jesu" and "Hostias," as well as the "Sanctus," "Benedictus," "Agnus Dei," and the concluding "Communio - Lux Aeterna." Each track showcases the intricate choral arrangements and orchestral compositions that Mozart is renowned for, although it is widely known that he did not complete this work himself; it was finished by his student Franz Xaver Süssmayr following Mozart's death.
