The new collection brings together for the first time on one album all of Tracy Chapman's classic songs, spanning four decades of her extraordinary career. Greatest Hits features songs from eight best-selling albums in remastered versions and was compiled by Chapman herself. Since her 1988 debut "Tracy Chapman", Tracy Chapman has managed to captivate a large number of listeners around the world with her voice, poignant songs, powerfully radiating soul and sense of authenticity. The album's eighteen songs reflect the greatest inner and emotional commitment.
