The iconic rock band The Rolling Stones release the newly edited, remixed and remastered archival concert film Voodoo Lounge Uncut, which was filmed on November 25, 1994 at Joe Robbie Stadium in Miami during the Voodoo Lounge world tour. Guests include Sheryl Crow, Robert Cray and Bo Diddley. The new version of the film includes ten previously unreleased performances and five bonus songs from Giants Stadium in New Jersey that were not performed in Miami. The series of recordings, which depicts the Rolling Stones on tour in the mid-'90s, will be released on November 16, with songs appearing on Voodoo Lounge Uncut including Not Fade Away, You Got Me Rocking, (I Can't Get No) Satisfaction, Sympathy For The Devil and Jumpin' Jack Flash.The Voodoo Lounge Tour began in April 1994, lasted approximately a year and included 134 shows on six continents, seen by over 6.5 million fans, making the tour the biggest ever at the time. The Voodoo Lounge album became an unrivalled number one worldwide in the year of its release. It even won a Grammy for Best Rock Album in 1995.The Rolling Stones are a band that has been an unthinkable pillar of rock music since their beginnings in 1962, when they were the counterpart to the sanctimonious Beatles. This is evidenced by their ranking as number four on Rolling Stone's list of the fifty immortal rock 'n' roll artists, winning the Grammy twice for lifetime achievement and being inducted into the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame. The hard core of the band consists of knighted singer Mick Jagger and guitar wizard with a life story of a rebel, Keith Richards.
