The Rolling Stones' tenth studio album Goat's Head Soup was released in September 1973. The album was recorded in Jamaica and mixed at Olympic Studios in London. It was the first album the band released after the death of Brian Jones and the first to feature Mick Taylor as a full member. The album was a critical and commercial success, reaching number one in the United States and number two in the United Kingdom. The lead single from the album, "Angie", became a worldwide hit, reaching number one in the United States and number three in the United Kingdom. The second single from the album, "Doo Doo Doo Doo Doo (Heartbreaker)", reached number thirteen in the United States. The album's third and final single, "Starfucker", reached number forty-six in the United States. The album's title track, "Goat's Head Soup", was released as a promotional single in the United States. The album's opening track, "Dancing with Mr. D", was released as a promotional single in the United Kingdom.
