Scorpions' 50th birthday: remastered "Love At First Sting" In 2015, Scorpions celebrates its 50th anniversary. On the occasion of the band's birthday, they are therefore coming up with something very special for their fans: the "50th Anniversary Deluxe Edition". In this edition, Scorpions are re-releasing a number of different studio and live albums. In addition, the band has pulled a number of previously unreleased tracks from their archives, including rare live recordings, alternate versions of their songs and rough mixes. For example, the song "Love At First Sting", released in 1984, will be released in a remastered version in 2015. In addition to the nine tracks from the original album, it includes five additional demo tracks selected by the band that have not yet been released. The encore DVD, which is being released alongside the CD in a high-quality digipack, features music videos for "Still Loving You", "Rock You Like A Hurricane", "Big City Nights" and "I'm Leaving You", as well as a best-of featurette of Scorpions' TV appearances and an interview with the band discussing the making of "Love At First Sting". A 16-page booklet with new liner notes by Edgar Klüsener, former editor-in-chief of Metal Hammer magazine, several rare photos and images of single covers, posters and backstage passes is available as a special supplement. In addition to the CD and DVD versions, "Love At First Sting" will also be released on LP with a companion CD. Unique: In the USA, "Love At First Sting" became the most successful Scorpions album ever. Now this rock masterpiece is available in a new sound and with many exciting extras never before seen. In addition to "Love At First Sting", the anniversary series includes "World Wide Live", "Taken By Force", "Tokyo Tapes", "Lovedrive", "Animal Magnetism", "Blackout" and "Savage Amusement". In addition, all albums will be released together in a limited edition "Vinyl Box".
