"Fear Of The Dark" back on vinyl "Fear Of The Dark", Iron Maiden's ninth album, finally returns on LP in 2017, completely remastered and on 180g heavyweight black vinyl. Originally released on 12 May 1994, it reached number one in the UK charts. In Germany, it reached number five. It was the last album with singer Bruce Dickinson, who returned to the band in 1999. In addition to "Fear Of The Dark", Iron Maiden and Parlophone Records are releasing eleven more albums from 1990-2015 in chronological order as part of a major vinyl reissue series in 2017. The first of these will be the May 19 studio recordings of "No Prayer For The Dying", "Fear Of The Dark", "The X Factor" and "Virtual XI". "No Prayer For The Dying" and "Fear Of The Dark" will also be released in a limited "Collectors Box" that offers space for other reissues as well as Iron Maiden's new album "The Book Of Souls". This will be followed by "Brave New World", "Rock In Rio (Live)", "Dance Of Death" and "A Matter Of Life And Death" on June 23rd. Last but not least, "Death On The Road (Live)", "Flight 666 (Live)", "The Final Frontier" and "En Vivo! (Live)" will be released on vinyl again on July 21. All reissues are 180g LPs with the original artwork of the first releases. Unlike the first eight albums, which were released in 2014 and mastered from analog master tapes for the reissue, the artwork for the twelve new pressings comes from high-resolution remasters from 2015. Now finally back on vinyl: "Fear Of The Dark", the ninth album from hard rock legends Iron Maiden.

Iron Maiden's "Fear of the Dark" is a classic album released in 1992. The album is full of heavy metal anthems that are sure to get your adrenaline pumping. The title track "Fear of the Dark" is a powerful song that will have you headbanging in no time. Other standout tracks on the album include "Be Quick or Be Dead", "From Here to Eternity" and "The Evil That Men Do". Parlophone Records continues its series of reissues of the Iron Maiden catalogue with a third set of digipack CDs entitled The Studio Collection - Remastered. Following on from the 2014 and 2017 black vinyl releases and 2015's Mastered for iTunes project, The Studio Collection - Remastered features recordings from the same remaster as the 2015 digital hi-res release, with the albums replacing the previously available catalogue. As a bonus for collectors, one CD from each set will be available in a box with special packaging, a 1:24 scale figure and an exclusive patch. In the third series, it will now be Fear Of The Dark.
