"Sehnsucht" is the second album by Rammstein. It was recorded at Temple Studios in Malta and originally released on August 22, 1997. The songs "Engel" and "Du hast" were released as singles. With the album "Sehnsucht", the band around Till Lindemann also managed an international breakthrough. It reached number one in Germany and Austria and number 45 in the USA, however it was even certified platinum there. For the 2015 re-release, all songs were completely remastered. The album is released on two 180g LPs in a gatefold sleeve. Fans have been waiting for this for a long time: Rammstein's second album, "Sehnsucht", is finally available on CD again in 2017.
