This is also reflected in the new album of this iconic American formation: the band around frontman James LaBrie now releases a true masterpiece in terms of creative ambition, courage and, last but not least, artistic invention with the album "Dream Theater". Pure energy, a passionate pursuit of dynamics, melody and hard-hittingness form the four pillars and solid foundation on which Dream Theater have always stood and in which "Dream Theater" is rooted. Once again, the material is dominated by LaBrie's almost magical, unmistakable vocals, backed by Petrucci's equally distinctive guitar wizardry, John Myung's solid rhythm section, multi-instrumentalist Jordan Rudess' atmospheric keys and, of course, the essential drums of the great Mike Mangini.
