Almost exactly two years later, Diana Krall will be releasing another album, the twelfth studio album of her career. Unlike the last one, the new Wallflower will contain mostly taken material.Produced by the renowned David Foster, who incidentally is a 16-time Grammy Award winner, the album will offer a collection of songs that inspired the singer in her musical beginnings. Fans will thus be treated to songs from the late 1960s as well as relatively new ones. As the producer himself adds, these are some of the most important pop songs of all time...Among the newly interpreted songs, which Diana Krall gives a whole new dimension to with her beautifully coloured jazz voice, we can find such classics as California Dreaming by The Mamas And The Papas, Desperado by The Eagles, Wallflower by the legendary Bob Dylan and Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word, which comes from Elton John's repertoire...Of the more recent songs, the singer has given a new face to perhaps Crowded House's biggest hit, Don't Dream It's Over, and we can also look forward to If I Also You Home Tonight from the pen of Paul McCartney.
