Stephen Pearcy is best known as the lead vocalist and one of the founding members of the American heavy metal band Ratt. Emerging on the Los Angeles music scene in the 1980s, Ratt was part of the glam metal movement and gained significant commercial success. Pearcy's distinctive voice and stage presence were integral to the band's identity, contributing to their string of hits such as "Round and Round," "Lay It Down," and "Wanted Man."
