Passenger is the stage name of Michael David Rosenberg, an English singer-songwriter and musician. He initially came to public attention as the lead singer of the band Passenger, which formed in 2003 and released the album "Wicked Man's Rest" in 2007. However, the band dissolved in 2009, and Rosenberg continued his career as a solo artist under the same name. His breakthrough came with the release of his single "Let Her Go" in 2012, which was a global success and featured on his fourth album "All The Little Lights." The album not only showcased his distinctive vocal style and introspective songwriting but also marked his international prominence. Following this success, Rosenberg released several more albums, including "Whispers" (2014) and its follow-up "Whispers II" (2015), as well as "Runaway" (2018), each further cementing his reputation for crafting heartfelt folk-pop songs. Throughout his career, Passenger has been known for his narrative lyrics and has gained a reputation for engaging live performances, often busking in cities while on tour.
