The design of cables with this designation minimizes radiation and penetration of both electric and magnetic fields. This protects the surrounding area against radiation from the cable as well as against the penetration of interference from the environment into the cable - e.g. from mobile phones, TV and radio transmitters or switching sources etc.The new cable construction has improved shielding, flexibility, strength and bending resistance.
