Obscure band from Liverpool, England, which have produced just three albums, an EP and a few other pieces in almost thirty years. Comparisons include Dead Can Dance, Current 93, Death In June, Nico (3), John Tavener and Shirley & Dolly Collins. Have recently become active again after a long hiatus, releasing a new album, Revolutionary Army Of The Infant Jesus* - Beauty Will Save The World, on Occultation Recordings, a reissue of debut The Revolutionary Army Of The Infant Jesus - The Gift of Tears on Feral Sounds Recordings and live appearances at the Greenbelt festival and elsewhere. Fourth album The Revolutionary Army Of The Infant Jesus - Songs Of Yearning is due for release in 2020, along with a companion album called The Revolutionary Army Of The Infant Jesus - Nocturnes, both also on Occultation Recordings.
