Perturbator is the stage name of James Kent, a French electronic musician who has been instrumental in the development of the synthwave and darksynth genres. Kent began his career as a guitarist for several black metal bands before shifting his focus to electronic music. His work has been featured in various media, including the soundtrack for the popular video game "Hotline Miami."
