The Münchener Bach-Orchester, also known as the Munich Bach Orchestra, is a renowned German orchestra that specializes in the works of Johann Sebastian Bach and other Baroque composers. It was founded in 1953 by conductor Karl Richter, who was a prominent figure in the revival of Baroque music in post-war Europe.
