Japanese all-female power metal band

Lovebites is an all-female Japanese heavy metal band that formed in 2016. The group quickly gained recognition for their powerful sound and technical proficiency. Their lineup consists of Asami on vocals, Midori and Miyako on guitars, Miho on bass, and Haruna on drums. Lovebites' debut EP, "The Lovebites EP," was released in 2017 and was followed by their first full-length album, "Awakening from Abyss," in the same year. The band's music is characterized by a blend of classic heavy metal influences with modern power metal elements. They have been lauded for their musicianship and have received international acclaim, including winning the Metal Hammer Golden Gods Award for Best New Band in 2018.
