Through the years the personnel has changed and the current members are Frank Claessens, Philippe Lardinois, Randi Broager-Gron and Gerd Van Loock. Bob, Frank en Zussen has been concentrating its efforts on contemporary interpretations of vocal and instrumental music from the Middle Ages and the Renaissance. Their aim is to lend a modern sound to ancient music while avoiding to affect its fundamental values. They want, as it were, to revive ancient music and make it accessible to modern ears. They also perform compositions of their own, thus bridging the ages to connect with our present times. Bob, Frank en Zussen consciously direct their choice of interpretation at a wide audience for whom the threshold leading towards so-called ‘authentic’ classical music is as yet too high to cross. For their vocal and instrumental versatility they are deservedly regarded as being unique in their genre. The band has recorded 3 vinyl records and 6 CD's, the latest "I' vo' bene", released in 2018.
