"Game Over!" - that's what rock icon Udo Dirkschneider (original voice of the cult band Accept) declares on his new album U.D.O., which will be released in autumn. The statement behind it has many different meanings. But one thing is immediately clear: U.D.O. don't do things by halves and give it their all. With hundreds of shows around the world, sometimes in the most remote parts of Russia and South America, the band has become a unit and a conglomerate of passionate musicians and friends. Each of them knows exactly when and how to play their instrument to fit perfectly into the band's sound. Songs like "Metal Never Dies", "Kids And Guns" and "Prophecy" are precise, powerful, catchy and full of energy. And above all, they are timeless. All the songs on this record have an unmistakable character that is as compelling today as it is tomorrow. And why "Game Over!"? Udo Dirkschneider hits a sour note in this opus. It's not so much about whitewashing. If humanity doesn't rethink some things, it could have fatal consequences.
