War On Drugs: "Lost In The Dream" - indie rock band relaunches Two years after their extensive work "Slave Ambient" (2011), the band has released a new album "Lost In The Dream". This is the third album by Philadelphia band The War On Drugs. "Lost In The Dream" is the new full-length album from the band around Adam Granduciel, whose founding member Kurt Vile is now on a solo career. The War On Drugs achieved a long awaited and well deserved breakthrough with the release of their last album "Slave Ambient" in 2011. The band has toured the US for the past two years. From North Carolina to New York, they have played every rock club, countless festival and late night TV show America has to offer. For their new third album, Granduciel worked with producer Jeff Zeigler (Lymbyc Systym, Kurt Vile and others), who gained experience from this extensive touring. The band also includes Dave Hartley (bass) and Robbie Bennet (piano, etc.), who are among Granduciel's inner circle in his personal life. Adam Granduciel himself says of the new record, "I wanted it to be a project between friends. Everyone in the band takes our project seriously. That's what our album is about - friendship, growing up, life and helping each other." This personal and professional growth is very evident in the band's sound. Adam Granduciel is not only the frontman of indie-rock band War On Drugs, but he also has a distinctive voice to share with the world. With the album "Lost In The Dream", War On Drugs once again offers a multi-layered music that is fresh and bright. The new album represents their catchiest and most popular work to date. Review "The Philadelphia band continues to make multi-layered indie rock." (musikexpress, April 2014) "Great epic rock songs from postmodern traditionalists." (Rolling Stone, April 2014) "Dreampop, mainstream Americana, and krautrock: the Philadelphia band's third album blends these opposites into a surprisingly homogeneous and downright disturbingly beautiful sonic concept." (Audio, May 2014)
Álbum abarca todos los géneros Rock y Indie Rock.
