In the brilliant film "Crossfire Hurricane" (directed by Brett Morgen), an important part of the ongoing 50th anniversary celebrations, the Rolling Stones tell the story of their unprecedented adventurous journey from bloodthirsty teenagers in the early 1960s to unquestioned rock royalty. All the band members have provided up-to-date interviews, and their commentaries include footage of legendary concerts, sensational reports and interviews, many of which have never been published before. Titled "Crossfire Hurricane" and featuring the lyrics to "Jumpin' Jack Flash," the film gives the viewer a very intimate sense of what it means, specifically, to be part of the Rolling Stones, and thus a quasi-survivor of accusations, drugs, disagreements and deaths. This film took over a year in the making and the Rolling Stones were personally involved. "Crossfire Hurricane" is and will become the ultimate story of the best rock 'n' roll band in the world. Bonus material includes a trailer, an interview with director Brett Morgen and footage from other performances.
