The Doors' L.A. Woman, released in 1971, is often considered the group's best album. The title track "L.A. Woman" is one of the group's best-known songs and is considered a classic. The album also includes the songs "Love Her Madly", "Riders on the Storm" and "The End". The Doors were at the height of their popularity at the time of L.A. Woman's release and the album was a commercial success. It was certified platinum by the RIAA and sold over four million copies in the United States.
