Yes guitarist Steve Howe releases his long-awaited new solo album out of love. "Love Is" is the title of the record, which comes seven years after his last solo album "Time". He recorded ten songs for it. Compared to its purely instrumental predecessor, there are now five instrumental and vocal tracks. Howe himself is responsible for vocals, guitars, bass, keys and drums on "Love Is". Yes singer Jon Davison handled the vocal harmonies and bass guitar for the vocal tracks. Steve Howe's son Dylan played drums on the recordings. The musician also handled the production and recording himself, with mixing done by Curtis Schwartz. Steve Howe chose the title "Love Is" to remind us of the importance of love for the universe and nature. Above all, though, you can hear his love for music, which in 2020 is as great as ever.
