Above all, the most important thing from a personnel point of view: with Giacomo Voli, a new singer has been at the musical helm of the band for three years now, who has not only taken over a truly great legacy with ease, but also gives Rhapsody Of Fire many new impulses. To dress the new material in fresh sounds to match the sophisticated songwriting, Rhapsody Of Fire have once again collaborated with a large orchestra. This time it was the famous "Bulgarian National Symphony Orchestra" in Sofia, Bulgaria, which helped achieve the sublime, atmospherically dense overall sound of The Eighth Mountain.
