Music you put on at very dark hours. But PJ Harvey has a talent that only artists like Leonard Cohen, Tom Waits or Harvey's former lover Nick Cave have: he sings of suffering, breathing pain with every note, yet always giving light. It's a paradox: sadness that creates joy."
