Reissue of Nick Cave's classic album - 180g heavyweight vinyl! NME put it in a nutshell: "gothic psycho-sexual apocalypse" - that was the conclusion of this album. Biblical themes have never been absent from Nick Cave's albums, but the story of Lazarus, whom Jesus raised from the dead, has fascinated Nick since childhood and appears as a motif in his songs. The album was recorded in just five days and has much in common with the Grinderman project. The album is wild and violent, enlivened by a dark fire rarely seen in previous works in favor of slick songs and ballads. With this album, Mick Harvey bids farewell to the Bad Seeds. Vinyl editions were long unavailable and traded as rarities. In October, the film "20,000 Days on Earth" will be released, which is in a sense (i.e. with a wink) a documentary about the life and work of Nick Cave.
