"Black Metal Ist Krieg" is a full-length album by the German black metal band Nargaroth, released in 2001. The tracklist includes an "Introduction" that sets the tone for the album, followed by the title track "Black Metal Ist Krieg." Other notable tracks include "Far Beyond The Stars," "Seven Tears Are Flowing To The River," which is one of the longest and most epic compositions on the album, and "The Day Burzum Killed Mayhem," which references events in the black metal scene. "I Burn For You" is a cover of a Lord Foul song, while "Pisen Pro Satana" is a cover of a song by Root, a Czech black metal band. "Amarok - Zorn Des Lammes III" is part of a series of tracks by Nargaroth that carry the Amarok title. The album also features "Erik, May You Rape The Angels," "The Gates Of Eternity," and closes with "Possessed By Black Fucking Metal." This release is often considered a significant work in Nargaroth's discography and a tribute to the black metal genre's second wave.
