Metallica to release their eleventh studio album Hardwired...To Self-Destruct November 18th on Blackened Recordings. The 2 CD / 2 Vinyl set is the first studio album from these Grammy® Award winners and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame members since their 2008 multi-platinum album Death Magnetic. Hardwired...To Self-Destruct will be released in the Czech Republic by Universal Music in various formats: CD, Vinyl, Digital and Deluxe. The album was produced by Greg Fidelman, who was the sound engineer for Death Magnetic, which he also mixed.

"Has it really been eight years? It doesn't feel like it at all! Before you know it!" says Metallica member Lars Ulrich. "We're looking forward like crazy to sharing our new songs with all our friends in the world. For the last eighteen months we've been revving it up in the studio with and without Greg, kicking our creative engines back into gear. Playing new music, diving back into what we love most in the world...so buckle up...IT'S COMING!"

"Hardwired," the first track selected from the new album, was first performed on August 18th during a live stream from Metallica's Bay Area headquarters. During an interview with Minneapolis' 93X Radio, Lars Ulrich shocked 93X commentator Pablo by playing this track for the very first time, to the surprise - and delight - of the entire radio station, as well as fans around the world. "Hardwired" is available for immediate download for all who pre-order the album.

Metallica also premiered the official music video for "Hardwired" that day. The clip can be viewed HERE.
