Einaudi leads the listener to reflect on time, and through his music he seeks to break through its boundaries. Einaudi has been composing his new album for over two years. The album was recorded in a remote monastery near Verona. The music on In A Time Lapse is as emotional and experimental as on his previous albums Divenire and Nightbook . Einaudi's new album features guest appearances on four tracks by violinist Daniel Hope, an exclusive artist on the Deutsche Grammophon label.
