Kovacs between Amy and Adele Sharon Kovacs aka Kovacs is back. The Dutch singer with the smoky, soulful voice is set to release her second album in 2018: Here's a Cheap Scent. With her 2015 debut "Shades Of Black", the singer already showed what she's made of: emotive, dark and soulful pop between Amy Winehouse and Adele. Anyone who has heard the 27-year-old singer knows that these comparisons are justified. Now Kovacs is following in the footsteps of her predecessor. However, because of this, she parted ways with her first producer and band and instead worked with her co-writer Liam Howe at his London-based Laundry Studios. Together they produced 15 great tracks, including two singles "Black Spider" and the title track "Cheap Smell". And once again they make it clear that Kovacs is one of the most exciting European singers working today. If you want to see for yourself, you should take a closer look at "Cheap Smell".
