While their early sound was primarily characterized by growls and high speed, In Flames have developed an increasingly progressive approach throughout their career, blending brighter vocals into their songs to create unparalleled anthems like "The Quiet Place" and "Trigger". And because there's never a lull in the world of In Flames, "Sounds From The Heart Of Gothenburg" is a small monument to their current sound before the band ventures to new shores this fall. The explosive performance was recorded in November 2014 in front of 10,000 fans at a sold-out Scandinavium - right in the heart of their hometown Gothenburg. The decision to record this home performance on DVD came quickly. A good year for all In Flames fans: with "Battles" the band will also release their new twelfth studio album in 2016.
