His clients have always included the world's greatest directors and filmmakers. On the occasion of his anniversary in 2016, the Italian composer and conductor presents a special musical retrospective "Morricone 60". It is not just a collection of his most important works. Instead, Morricone has selected some of his compositions and re-recorded them together with the Czech National Symphony Orchestra. The track list speaks for itself: it includes, for example, the theme song "The Good, The Bad And The Ugly" from the western of the same name, "Stage Coach To Red Rock" from the soundtrack to the film "The Hateful Eight", which was released only in 2015, or the famous "The Man With The Harmonica" from the film "That Time In The West". A total of 23 songs made it onto "Morricone 60". With the new version of the song "Nuovo" from the soundtrack of the film "Cinema Paradiso", the first preview of the album appeared. In addition to the standard CD, "Morricone 60" is also available as a double LP and a deluxe set with an additional DVD. The latter contains a previously unreleased documentary about the recording of the soundtrack to "The Hateful Eight" at London's legendary Abbey Road studios. The legendary film composer's greatest hits on one album in a complete performance. "Morricone 60" will delight film and music lovers alike.
