Released in 1984, Serious Moonlight was David Bowie's fifteenth studio album. The album was the follow-up to his massively successful album Let's Dance, and although it did not achieve the same commercial success, it produced several hit singles, including "Loving the Alien", "China Girl" and "Let's Dance". The album was recorded in Switzerland and features a mixture of new wave and hard rock sounds.
