The pioneers of melodic death metal and co-founders of the Gothenburg sound are back with their new album "Moment". The four years that have passed between this and the previous album "Atoma" have not only provided ample time for countless live performances, but also a lot of room for creativity and innovation. The two new guitarists, Christopher Amott (ex-Arch Enemy) and Johan Reinholdz (Nonexist), who were already part of the touring band, impress with their virtuoso playing and add a whole new touch to Dark Tranquillity's music. Once again the Swedes push their own boundaries without losing their signature sound, inspiring with fast, aggressive tracks like "Phantom Days", "Identical to None" and "Empires Lost to Time", while "The Dark Unbroken", "A Drawn Out Exit" and "In Truth Divided" are dark and beautifully melancholic. The album was recorded at Nacksving Studios and Rogue Music by Martin Brändström. The album was mixed and mastered by Jens Bogren at Fascination Street Studios.
