"Tales from the Thousand Lakes" je druhé album doom metalové skupiny Amorphis.

Jedná se o koncepční album, jehož texty vycházejí z finského národního eposu Kalevala. Ačkoli je album stále převážně deathmetalové, je na něm patrný větší vliv doom metalu než na debutu kapely, spolu s melodičtějšími, heavy metalem inspirovanými riffy a prvky progresivního rocku a tradiční finské lidové hudby.
