The aforementioned trio still consists of band leader, guitarist and vocalist Danko Jones, bassist JC and drummer Rich Knox, and their sound is still full of riffs and energy. "Power Trio" is the tenth studio album from Canada's garage-blues-rock heroes, the eagerly awaited follow-up to 2019's "A Rock Supreme," which narrowly missed the Top 20 here. Danko Jones recorded eleven songs for it. The production was once again handled by Eric Ratz, who was already behind the mixing desk for the incredible albums "Wild Cat" (2017) and "Fire Music" (2015). The result of their renewed collaboration is nothing like its predecessors. On the contrary: inside it is written: "Power Trio". PS: In addition to the CD and the classic black LP, "Power Trio" is available exclusively for jpc as green vinyl. But only while stocks last.
