It was their second album and was released two years after their debut album Backstreet Boys . The album was a success in the United States, charting at number four on the Billboard 200 and was certified platinum three times by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). It also charted in the top ten in other countries, including the United Kingdom, Canada, Sweden and New Zealand. The album spawned four singles - "As Long as You Love Me", "Everybody (Backstreet's Back)", "I Want It That Way" and "Larger than Life" - which all reached the top ten of the Billboard Hot 100. The record reached the top ten of the Billboard charts.
