This collection contains the most popular tenor arias from operas such as La Boheme, Tosca, La Traviata, Madame Butterfly and Romeo and Juliet. Andrea Bocelli, classical music's most successful artist with 80 million albums sold, brings these masterpieces to life with his unique voice. Especially for this album, Bocelli has re-recorded three arias, including the famous "Nessun Dorma!" from Puccini's Turandot, which is very important to Bocelli and his mentor and patron Luciano Pavarotti. Bocelli has selected his personal highlights from masterpieces by Puccini, Donizetti and Verdi and complemented them with the best of French opera with arias by Massenet, Gounod and Bizet. Bocelli on his album: "The main aim of this album is to bring opera closer to the people. That's why I chose songs that will touch you at the first listen. I hope I made the right choice and inspire people to want to discover more."
