Tom Jones is a Welsh singer whose career has spanned over six decades, beginning with his emergence during the mid-1960s. With a powerful voice and a charismatic stage presence, he became one of the most popular vocalists to emerge from the British Invasion. Jones is known for his wide-ranging musical style, incorporating pop, rock, R&B, show tunes, country, dance, soul, and gospel. His first hit was "It's Not Unusual," which became an instant success in 1965. Following this, he released a string of hits including "What's New Pussycat?", "Thunderball" (the theme song for the James Bond film of the same name), "Green, Green Grass of Home," and "Delilah," which became signature songs in his repertoire.
