Funk and Disco Pioneers

The Fatback Band, also known simply as Fatback, is an influential American funk and disco band that was prominent in the 1970s and 1980s. Formed in New York City in 1970 by drummer Bill Curtis, the band had a dynamic sound that combined funk with R&B, soul, and later disco.
