The Corrs are an Irish band that combines pop rock with traditional Celtic folk music, and they have gained international fame since their formation in 1990. The group consists of the Corr siblings: Andrea (lead vocals, tin whistle), Sharon (violin, vocals), Caroline (drums, piano, bodhrán, vocals), and Jim (guitar, piano, keyboards, vocals). They released their debut album "Forgiven, Not Forgotten" in 1995 to critical acclaim and it achieved notable success in several countries. Their unplugged performance was recorded for an MTV Unplugged session and released as "The Corrs Unplugged" album in 1999, showcasing their ability to perform live with a more acoustic and stripped-down sound. "Best of The Corrs" album followed in 2001, featuring a compilation of their hits and reflecting the band's success over the years. The Corrs have enjoyed considerable popularity throughout their career, selling over 40 million albums worldwide. They are known for their melodic harmonies and the blend of modern rhythms with traditional Irish themes.
