Propagandhi is a Canadian punk rock band formed in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba, in 1986 by Chris Hannah and Jord Samolesky. The band is known for its politically charged lyrics, as well as its melodic and technical approach to punk rock. Throughout their career, Propagandhi has released several albums that have been influential within the punk community. Their third album, "Today's Empires, Tomorrow's Ashes," released in 2001, marked a significant shift towards a more complex and aggressive sound.
