Punk Rock Veterans

NOFX is an American punk rock band formed in Los Angeles, California, in 1983. The band was founded by vocalist and bassist Fat Mike (Mike Burkett) and guitarist Eric Melvin. Drummer Erik Sandin joined shortly after, and El Hefe (Aaron Abeyta) came on board in 1991 to round out the current lineup, playing guitar and trumpet. NOFX is known for their satirical and political commentary, which is often infused with humor within their lyrics. They have built a significant following without the aid of major record labels, mainstream media, or television exposure.
