British Indie Folk-Pop Band

Noah and the Whale was a British indie folk band formed in 2006 in Twickenham, London, England. The group was fronted by singer-songwriter Charlie Fink and included violinist Tom Hobden, guitarist Fred Abbott, bassist Matt Owens, and drummer Michael Petulla. They first gained recognition with their debut single "5 Years Time," which became a hit in the UK. Their debut album, "Peaceful, The World Lays Me Down" (2008), received positive reviews and established their presence in the indie music scene with its blend of folk and pop elements.
