Manticore

UK label Label Code: LC 3042 / LC 03042 Manticore was the record label started in 1973 by Emerson, Lake & Palmer's production company Manticore Records Ltd. and which was distributed by Island Records until 1978 and later by WEA. In 1995 the Manticore back catalogue was licensed to Castle Communication. In the US Manticore was distributed by Atlantic Records from 1973 to 1975, then switched to Motown until the label folded. In 2015 Greg Lake decided to renew the label together with Max Marchini and produced his two final albums "Live in Piacenza" and "Moonchild" and then left the artistic direction to Max Marchini after his passing in 2016. The label owner is Greg Lake's widow Regina Uta Lake.
