Happiest Place

Record label founded in Växjö, Sweden (2017). Now residing in Gothenburg (2018-) with the ambition of only releasing the best expressions around. The story begins in the small town of Växjö in the province of Småland in Sweden, 2016. The town had been starving for something new to happen, that would turn everything on it's head. And finally, a group of DIY-promoters took Växjö out of the grey. Autodidaktik, a one-off happening in a big warehouse complex on an industrial estate, booked among others Neutral, Blodvite & Altar Of Flies for a night of mind expanding culture and heavy drinking. In the crowd that night, a young boy with a cassette recorder, taped the gigs and released them on his own label in an effort to start a revolution in Växjö! The revolution was yet to show itself, but the label survived. Happiest Place Records was born! The cassettes quickly sold out and Happiest Place set it's sight on the world!
