The ACRYL IT platter is made of acrylic with a matt surface and high density, which does not transmit any resonance. Acril it is the ideal accessory for the ELEMENTAL, ESSENTIAL and PRIMARY turntables. The simultaneous use of the CLAMP IT pressure clamp is also highly recommended .
Changing is easy: Just replace the original metal platter with Acryl IT.Unlike MDF platters, where you have to use a felt pad between the record and the platter to dampen the resonance of the metal, with an acrylic platter you can place the phono record directly on its surface, without an additional intermediate layer.
Replacing the standard MDF platter with Acryl it will also improve the stability of the turntable due to the increase in weight.
Acrylic will thus not only elevate the aesthetic aspect, but thanks to zero resonances, it also delivers better sonic results!It is thus a very effective and efficient way to upgrade a turntable.
