They are known for their catchy hooks, geeky persona, and music that blends elements of alternative rock with power pop. Weezer gained fame with their self-titled debut album in 1994, often referred to as "The Blue Album," which featured hits like "Buddy Holly" and "Say It Ain't So." Their follow-up album, "Pinkerton," initially met with mixed reviews but later achieved cult status and critical acclaim.
