The Righteous Brothers, composed of Bill Medley and Bobby Hatfield, were a musical duo that rose to fame in the 1960s with their emotive brand of blue-eyed soul. They are best known for their hit songs "Unchained Melody" and "You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin'," the latter of which was produced by Phil Spector and is often cited as one of the most successful songs in music history. Their powerful vocal style combined elements of R&B, rock, and pop, which resonated with a wide audience and has been credited with helping to create the genre of "blue-eyed soul." The Righteous Brothers continued to enjoy success throughout the 1960s and 1970s, and their music has remained popular over the years, often being featured in movies, television shows, and commercials.
