The Planet Wilson

The Planet Wilson was a post-punk band from Hull, England, active during the late 1980s. The group was known for its eclectic style, which blended elements of punk, funk, and other genres. They were part of the vibrant UK independent music scene of that era. The band's lineup included bassist/vocalist Loz Hardy, guitarist/vocalist Steve Wright, and drummer Grant Ardis. Although they did not achieve widespread commercial success, The Planet Wilson gained a cult following with their innovative sound and energetic performances. They released two albums during their career: "In the Best of All Possible Worlds" in 1985 and "Not Drowning but Waving" in 1987. After disbanding, members went on to pursue other projects, with Loz Hardy notably moving into music production.
