The Dutch Swing College Band is a traditional dixieland jazz band founded on May 5, 1945, by bandleader and clarinetist Peter Schilperoort. This highly influential Dutch jazz group started as an amateur college band in The Hague. In the post-World War II period, they rose to prominence in the Netherlands and beyond, becoming one of the leading traditional jazz ensembles of their time.
